Green Party Candidate Emerges

KALISTA TWINSPEAR, GREEN PARTY MEMBER, ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY

In a surprise twist to the avalanche of issues surrounding the BRACKHAVEN administration, the GREEN PARTY has already put a candidate forward for the RECALL ELECTION, should the petition exceed over 250 thousand signatures.  KALISTA TWINSPEAR, aged 32, is a tech-savvy magician that graduated with a Doctorate in Applied Botanical Science and a Master's in Political Science from Humboldt University of Berlin, founded in 1810.  She has been working in the Green Party offices recently, disillusions with the politics of the mainstream parties that currently run and own Seattle wholescale, as well as the rest of the UCAS.

She is the estranged daughter of Helena Neyman, an individual she distanced herself from in taking the surname of her fiancee Dorian Twinspear.  A girl of Sioux and Russian heritage, she recently experienced UGE into elvenkind.  Her fiancee Dorian Twinspear, primarily of Sioux heritage, also experienced a similar UGE event, turning into an ork.  She has stated publicly that this does not affect their relationship and, in fact, enhances it, being the only high-profile elf and ork couple in recent memory to come forward.

She announces that her platform will be about unity of the people of Seattle rather than segregation, a platform that puts her starkly at odds with the Archconservative candidate Markus Neyman and the incumbent Republican Kenneth Brackhaven, both men suspected of association with the Humanis Policlub and staunch opponents of the transformation of the Ork Underground into an established district of Seattle.

Her emphasis on changing the political establishment from within is a hallmark of her candidacy.  She has already injected several millions of nuyen into the advertising and promotion of the Recall Election Petition.  Critics state that an attractive young elven woman will never go far in Seattle, alienating the extremely large ork population.  Her husband-to-be has remarked in response to this critics, informing them that alienated orks need only look to his example as a sign that times have changed for the ork underclass and that better times are ahead in the metroplex.
